Dogs are allowed at Holliday Lake State Park Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Title: Holliday Lake Will Be Lowered Due to dock maintenance and repair, Holliday Lake will be lowered from December 15, 2008 until mid-April, 2009. During this time, the boat launch will be closed. Please call Holliday Lake State Park at 434-248-6308 for any additional information. Holliday Lake State Park, located deep within the Appomattox-Buckingham State Forest Campground, boasts a scenic 150acre lake amid rolling hills. Activity at the park focuses on the lake, with fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, camping and hiking. Only non-gasoline powered boats are allowed on Holliday Lake.
