This historic and charming farmhouse is surrounded by nearly an acre of gardens. Located in the picturesque village of Lakeside, Michigan in the heart of Harbor Country, less than a 90 minute drive from Chicago, it's just a five minute walk to Lake Michigan's beautiful Pier Street Beach and renowned antique stores and markets. Fully and charmingly furnished, this home as photographed for Better Homes and Gardens. Features three bedrooms, each with ample closets, large bathroom with view of the gardens, large eat-in kitchen with dishwasher. And a delightful screened-in front porch. There's also a gorgeous separate summerhouse overlooking a naturalistic prairie garden. This large screened-in cottage is fantastic for lazy summer days. It's perfect for entertaining and serves as a fourth bedroom in the summer.
