Guests experience ultimate privacy in this new, luxurious 2,800 sq. -ft. log home on 16 acres of wilderness waterfront. Raquette Lodge is on a section of the Raquette River which has been dammed to create a pristine lake/reservoir which is excellent for swimming or fishing. Amenities include: pontoon boat with Mercury motor, canoe,2 kayaks, dock,8-person, jetted, lit hot tub at the water's edge, lit regulation-size, sand volleyball court, private pond, bon-fire pit, snowshoes provided in winter, and snowmobile trails nearby. Guests enjoy excellent pike, bass, walleye fishing. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with 2-story cathedral ceiling, leather furniture, stone fireplace (wood provided), and upstairs den/TV room; it sleeps 17: 2 bedrooms downstairs--#1 has king, #2 has queen. 2 bedrooms upstairs--#3 has queen & twin, #4 has queen; loft has 3 double beds--best for children because of head space; den has futon which opens to full bed. The home has 2 full baths and washer/dryer, and is located 4 mi. from Higley Flow State Park and 25 min. from SLU & Clarkson U.
