Dogs are allowed at Camp James, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle and be properly cleaned up after. Barking dogs are not tolerated. There is a two pet limit per site and a pet fee of $5/day. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (760) 376-6119.

Camp James is located on the Kern River in Kernville, CA--just an hour drive northeast of Bakersfield and less than 3 hours north of Los Angeles. Their facilities include: on the river front campsites, creek side campsites, Wi-Fi, 30-50 amp service, and sparkling clean premises!
