Description
Abol Bridge Campground is a small family type area located on the West Branch of the Penobscot River at Abol Stream. This area has a great deal to offer: fishing, swimming, canoeing, whitewater rafting, hiking (Appalachian Trail), plus a view of Mt. Katahdin. Deer and Moose sightings are common. Each campsite is furnished with a picnic table and fireplace. There is a central building with flush toilets and metered hot showers.
