  Paradise Indeed

  Nice location in residential area near town and historic sites. Very dog friendly; rooms have private patio with direct access to beautiful quiet garden. There are many nice places to walk with Fido.

  Just no

  Room 1 had a flooded bathroom and room 2 had horrible beds and we could hear every single move our upstairs neighbor made, all night. The patio out to green space was amazing for the dogs - loved that. But the hotel is not well maintained and there aren’t any positives to share outside of the sliding door. We had stayed here years ago and liked it but this was a complete waste of money. And it was expensive for a night of changing rooms and no sleep. Keep looking.

  Perfect for a weekend getaway!

  Reserved right on the app and couldn’t have been easier! The room was clean and perfect for a weekend getaway! Definitely an older hotel, but clean and was able to bring my fur baby so that’s always a win!

  Room was large and clean. Musty smell in hallway but not overwhelming. Good location. Fenced dog park nearby.

  Quiet location

  Clean spacious room. Loved the backyard grounds for walking our dog even have a Doggie pail outside.
  Negative: Dated rooms and no microwave only mini refrigerator.

  Great for Dogs

  Front desk staff were very accepting of our dog however the room was not as clean or comfortable as it has been in the past.

  Limited options

  There were very limited options in this area. Paradise Inn was very clean, secure, & check in was easy. There were many places to walk my dog safely. The hotel interior is extremely outdated but clean. The bedding could use a major overhaul: mattress, pillows, sheets, blanket, & comforter were all very old. A comfortable bed is a priority of mine.

  Clean place in convenient location

  Overall it was fine. Clean room and in a nice location not too far from the Main Street. There was a bit of a funny smell in the room, hallway and when we turned on the heat.

  Large area for the pups to walk and sniff around. The inside of the room is quite outdated. Morning coffee is difficult, there is no coffee maker in the room and to get in the lobby is hectic due to COVID precautions.

  Paradise At the Inn

  We had a great time. Enjoyed the pool and the strategically placed hammocks on the grounds made for a peaceful beautiful environment. The hotel is very dated but clean and peaceful. My fur baby enjoyed his stay as well!

  Great place

  We had a huge room with sliding doors out to big lawn -- great for taking the dog out. The staff was helpful and friendly, pointing us to dog-friendly restaurants nearby. We loved this place!

  Great place to Stay

  We spent this past weekend at the Paradise Inn. We had a great room which opened out into the green lawn. It was easy to walk our dog on the grounds. The staff was welcoming and we had no issues. The room was large, clean and easily accessible. Also across the parking lot was a dog friendly place for breakfast - The Loose Canon. We had a great stay in Bennington and our dog Penny enjoyed it too.

  Great room, somewhat outdated, but large. Our patio door lead right to a beautiful yard so getting outside was easy.

  Hidden paradise!

  Great stay for a night with our pup! Lovely property and pool, spacious room with a walkout to the garden, friendly staff, great dog friendly restaurants nearby ... would come back in a heartbeat!

  Great stay!

  We just spent two nights at the Paradise Inn in Bennington, Vermont with our two dogs. It’s the first time we’ve stayed in a hotel/motel with both of them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is someone on duty all the time. The pet friendly rooms are set up nicely. You enter through the main door but each pet room has a sliding glass door that allows you to go straight outside to a grassy area. It’s actually a large yard. This allowed us to get outside without worrying about encountering other dogs. There were no other dogs there at the time. At least I didn’t see or hear any. There also a small patio outside the sliding door where you can sit and be protected from the weather. The hotel sits off of the main drag, so very convenient to the Brown Cow Cafe. Nice place. Will not hesitate to stay here again.

  Pet and budget friendly

  We came late at night and were able to get a room for us and our dog without a problem. The front desk staffer was very nice and accommodating. We would definitely recommend.
