The hotel is definitely due for some upgrades but the staff were very friendly. Check-in and checkout were easy. Nice space to walk the dogs. Not as convenient to places to eat but there is a little family Italian place nearby which had really great food.

Two recent stays with our Golden Retriever. One of the nicest La Quinta properties we have experienced. Spotless conditions. Easy access off I-40. Lots of grass area for Fido. Very cordial staff. I'm pretty sure the manager does not allow pets on the first floor, but our second floor room was perfect.

Plenty of area to walk your dogs. Some parts grassy and grounds are well maintained. Two doggie poop bag stations. Hotel was quiet and room was very nice. Breakfast was good. They have a bar in the evening for a glass of beer or wine if you are so inclined. Definitely would stay there again.

The property was fine with one exception: tv in our room didn’t work. We didn’t ask to change rooms as it was late and the dogs were already settled. Otherwise, the room was nice, the property had a good pet relief area, and the breakfast was typical, but with a decent selection. We would definitely stay again (and check the tv first!).

This Elk City hotel was a nice hotel to stay with (or without) a pet. There was outdoor seating just outside from the breakfast room. Rooms were on the small side, but clean and comfortable. Would book here again.

Safe location, comfortable beds, decent shower. There was some noise in the hallways from guests and we could hear our neighbors talking loudly and sneezing, so the walls were a little thin, but the staff was really nice and the pet fee was super reasonable. There is also a great coffee shop nearby in town for the morning called Major Bean that makes delicious breakfast, which you might want to visit since the breakfast in the hotel was not great and quickly picked over.

On our entire 5 weeks of coast to coast travel, the breakfast here was most like pre-covid breakfasts. Now that we know COVID is not transmitted by food, it is time to get back to these good, sustaining breakfasts. The facility was clean, bright, and friendly.

They do allow dogs but their policy says no pets on the beds or furniture, so beware if your dog usually sleeps in bed with you! They say if there is pet hair on the bed they will charge a $150 cleaning fee. The room and hotel was acceptable and clean. Perfectly fine for a late night stop passing through.

Great place to stay, but be sure to call the actual hotel to confirm you have a pet reservation. We got there and found they had only 1 pet room left. We were lucky. Booking through Bring Fido doesn’t let them know you have a pet.

Spent one night while traveling with our dog. Front desk was very friendly, rooms were clean with mini fridge and microwave. There is a grassy area with bags out front for dogs to use - we would return again.

Hotel was very dated. Chipped paint, carpets looked dirty, and even though it’s a no smoking facility, we smelled smoke throughout the building. There is a decent grassy area to walk your dog.

Elk City rolls up the sidewalks at around 8pm. No food unless you want Dominos.... hotel does not offer a bag breakfast like other LaQuintas do during Covid19. Nevertheless, nice clean rooms and nice people.

Traveling with a pet has its challenges, especially if your furry friend is a cat. I like my hotels to be clean, neat, and newer or updated. I've stayed at other La Quinta hotels, but this one was the best. The staff was super friendly, the room was updated, smelled clean, and everything worked.
Too bad we are in the midst of a virus. This hotel boast a bar which would've been fun if it was open.

We stayed at 3 different hotels in a cross country drive recently. This was the nicest one by far. Comfy bed, super clean, newer looking, and very dog friendly. I will stay here again!
