Park Motel and Cabins welcomes two dogs of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. Well-behaved dogs may be left in rooms unattended. Pet towels are available, and there is a grassy area with a waste station on the property. Cats are not permitted. I was warmly welcomed but there were things about the room that made the stay unpleasant. In the morning there were small bugs crawling on my damp towels in the bathroom. The ice bucket and coffee maker were not clean. The toilet was very old and uncomfortably low and the caulking around the shower was badly split. A curtain was almost off the curtain rod. The room was very dark in decor.

Thin walls where you can hear and understand normal conversation from the next room. They even have ear plugs in the room with instructions to use them when the neighbor's room gets too noisy. Our neighbor snored and kept my wife awake most of the night. After taking my hearing aids out, I slept. No recommendations on where to eat - the office person didn't live in the town and there was no motel provided list of eating suggestions in the local area. No designated dog area but there was plenty of open space.

This family owned property has a warm and friendly touch. The room was clean and cozy and the cabin style decor was tastefully done. The grounds were green and well kept. Perfect for our big Akita dog! Thoughtful and Convenient Doggie bag stations. We will definitely come back to the Park Motel. Next time we will try a cabin!

stayed in cabins...nice place with pleasant staff..clean rooms but outdated fixtures and furniture ....bed was pretty comfy, will stay again if given the chance.
