Voco Madrid Retiro by IHG is located around the Paseo del Arte where many of Madrids most important museums, such as the Prado and the Thyssen are found and is very near the Retiro Park, one of the most important and most visited in this city. The hotel is perfectly connected to the Ifema exhibition centre area and also with the airport and the principal bus and train stations. It also has direct access to the main traffic routes, such as the Valencia hwy, the m30 m40, m45 and m50. Next to the hotel are the Sainz de Baranda metro station and bus stops of many urban bus lines. This allows quick access to all parts of the city, as well as to the city center itself. One point of interest worth mentioning is the glasswork and frescos decorating the lounges, lobbies, cafeteria and restaurants. These are the work of renown maestro Manuel Ortega.
