The Inn at Houndslake welcomes one pet up to 60 lbs for an additional fee of $$100 per stay. Both dogs and cats are allowed, but pets may not be left unattended in rooms. Treats are provided at the front desk, and there is a pet relief area on the property. Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Doberman Pinschers, and Chow Chow are not permitted. Beautiful and picturesque! We booked last minute (see my review on Americas Best Value Inn).The front desk was very accommodating and even gave us cold bottles of water and a bone for the pup. A little dated but very clean and it gave you a homey feeling. Would stay there again!

Country Club life with a great place to walk the pups, between fairways in the pines. Room was a little dated but, for us, the ambiance more than makes up for it. Great rate for our stay in March. Would stay here again.

The clerk, Carol was so pleasant and helpful. The fee was minimal for my pet. The dog-allowed rooms are on the ground floor with an exit into a grassy area for the dogs. The rooms was clean and comfortable. Guests have pool access and can play golf for a green fee. Continental breakfast served. Will stay again!
