Stayed one night. The rooms were comfortable and they let dogs stay for an extra £15 fee. There was a a bowl and a blanket in the room, just don’t try to eat when you are staying with a dog. When it came to breakfast, even though we had booked with our dog, we were taken to a separate room quite a distance from the restaurant not setup for eating and with nobody else there! We were completely ostracized and made to feel awkward about simply expecting to have our dog with us whilst we ate.
It is a completely the opposite of dog friendly. Safe to say we will never visit or stay again despite having children studying at Exeter University. If they want to know dog friendly then they need to look at The Bird in Bath! There even the dogs have their own breakfast bowl with freshly cooked sausages! They get a proper comfy dog bed, a welcome box complete with Lily’s kitchen dog food, poo bags and a ball!
