    Starved Rock Lodge & Conference Center allows one dog up 50 lbs (or multiple dogs with a combined weight of 50 lbs) for an additional fee of $35 per pet, per stay. Only three Pioneer Cabins are pet friendly. Guests with pets must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a pet and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Well-behaved dogs may be left unattended in the rooms. There is a dog menu at the veranda and water bowls are available to rent at the Visitor's Center. There is a grassy area for pet relief on the property. Vaccination records are required at check-in. Sorry, cats are not permitted.

      Great Getaway!

      If you want to spend some time with your dog at Starved Rock State Park, think about staying at Starved Rock Lodge. Dog friendly accommodations are limited; only some of the cabins allow dogs. Cabins are cute & clean with a microwave and mini-fridge in each. The dog-friendly models are basically a detached hotel room, not a multi-room cabin. Dogs are not allowed in the lodge, but if you don't want to leave your dog alone while you eat, you can order from their restaurant to-go and take your dinner back to your cabin. We had a great time and our dog loved the hiking!
