As a hotel it dates back to 1858 prior to which it was the official residence of the Queens representative to the Bailiwick of Guernsey - The Lt. Governor. The Old Government House Hotel & Spa as it is now affectionately known, continues to be the leading hotel on the island. Located in the heart of the islands capital, St Peter Port, it is the perfect base to explore Guernsey and the other islands of the Bailiwick.
