Hotel Casa Valdese Roma is a comfortable establishment managed as a hotel by the Protestant Church in Italy. It is located in the Prati area of Rome on a side street that is peaceful and quiet yet at the same time very central. In fact, it is within walking distance of some of the most recognized sites in the city including St. Peters, Vatican, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza di Spagna, and Villa Borghese. The lunchroom and sitting areas are at ones disposal for meetings or general socializing. A conference room equipped with about 20 seats is also available for those who need a quiet isolated working space. There is a multimedia room with Internet access, satellite TV, books, daily newspapers, and magazines. After spending the day in Romes history and culture, one can enjoy the typical meals of the Italian cooking. The kitchen provides a fixed menu on a two-week rotation with meals that are based on the fresh produce of that particular season as well as the rich traditional Italian cuisine. Naturally, the hotel has no problem adapting to ones dietary needs as long as ones communicates to them in advance. On the fourth floor there is a lovely terrace with a wonderful view of the Eternal City. In the summer it is an ideal place for having a sunbath or spending a nice evening in the pleasant fresh air. There are 33 rooms. All rooms are endowed with private bath, heat, air-conditioning, satellite TV, and telephones for internal and outside calls. Children aged three and under stay Free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children aged 4-10 receive a 50 percent reduction when sharing with one adult. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
