Room was quiet and close to the door.

The room was very nice and comfortable, great space to relax in. Checking in and was a breeze, Snow even got a welcome bag with treats, poop bags and a welcome sheet spelling out the "suggestions" and some rules. There is parking a plenty. The hotel description is a bit oversold though. There are no trails, but a nice grassy area to walk, that is the easement between the parking lot and main roads. The room was also on the main floor making getting outside and back in a breeze.

Very easy check-in with my puppy. Great information given at check-in and was great having a room right by the door to go outside when needed!

Front desk had a new toy for our little shiba. No issues with the room other than a little dirty in the corners. Otherwise the stay was great.

Good-sized clean room, tile and laminate floors, nice bathroom, comfy bed, mini fridge and small microwave. Bag of treats and a poop bag for the dog. Decent breakfast. Best place we’ve stayed for the price.

They forgot you give us the welcome doggie bag with instructions on what they expect of pet owners until I asked for any toys. The staff was super friendly helpful though with late check out times and extra key cards. We came back a week later! Breakfast was a decent for the price-wish the restaurant was open daily at meal times though.

Everything from the staff to the room was fantastic. We had a 2 PM appointment, and they allowed us to check in early. The check-in process was easy, and my dogs got lots of love.
Usually, when you get a pet friendly room, you tend to worry about the state of the room, but it was pristine and beautiful. Laminate and tile flooring ensure there wouldn't be dander from other pets there, and there was lots of space to set up my daughter's bassinet and for my giant (130 lbs) dog to lay down near it. 10/10 would stay every time we're in Calgary. - LeslieSep 13, 2019Guest Review
Very nice. Very clean. Had on site restaurant (good) and nice lounge/bar. Allowed to leave dog unattended in room ( if behaved). Large, large grassy area next door with security people on sight at all hours. Definitely would recommend. Good price, for quality hotel. !!!

Safe Stay: Royal Hotel Calgary, Trademark Collection By Wyndham has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the Count on Us (Wyndham) cleanliness and sanitization policy. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Cashless payment is available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
