Be our guest at one of the newest Weekend Getaways in Northern Michigan offered by Blue Lakes Vacation Rentals. Creatively designed and decorated to resemble an old School House, but comfortable and cozy with a touch of class. Wood flooring, ceramic tile, custom woodwork, Pottery Barn style decor and a mix of antique and custom furniture are just some of the home's finer touches. Enjoy 360 degree panoramic views of Upper Herring Lake and the surrounding countryside from the 3rd floor bell tower. The School House Cottage is located on all sports, but not all crowded Upper Herring Lake with 140' of private water frontage. The home sits on 2. 5 acres on a quite, peaceful country road surrounded by a perfect blend of rolling hills, woodlands, orchards and vineyards. This 2100 sq. ft. home is Fun! Please note that there is a minimum stay of 2 nights at this property. Guests will receive a 100% refund if their reservation is canceled at least 30 days before the arrival date, and a 50% refund if it is canceled at least 14 days before the arrival date. Guests may check-in anytime after 4 pm and must check-out by 11 am.
