Booked here specifically as the property has ample green space and pathways to walk your leashed dog. Be sure and reserve a first floor room with patio for quick access to grass. As others have said, the McCormick could use an update. That aside, it is in a great location, it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and the employees were unfailingly friendly and helpful.

Not great for the price in my opinion. The hotel is definitely dated, but charges as if they are not. The area seems great and the staff were super friendly, but the room was not clean. The bathroom was outdated and the tub was chipped in multiple places. The sheets had hair on them when we arrived. The extra resort fee seems silly, especially for overnight guests who don’t get to utilize the amenities. The food was decent, but again you’re paying resort fees for average offerings. They were pet friendly, for a fee, but not many areas to walk her especially at night (not well lit). I wish we would have saved half of our costs and just stayed at a roadside hotel rather than this for our stay.

The staff were friendly and professional, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel put pet owners on the ground floor so it was easy to take them outside. That is such an important detail that is appreciated. The bar and pool were pleasant along with a great view. All of this for a great price!

Super dog friendly. They have ground level patio rooms, which was very convenient to let the dogs in and out. On a lake with plenty of grass which was great to walk the dogs! Big rooms which gave us plenty of room for our giant bed for our fur babies.

This is a great place for you and your pup. Lots of grass (for the old timers) and open spaces for the zoomies. Good food/drink, nice lake views.

Very nice and clean. Big grassy open area to walk our dog with a leash. Looks like it could use some updating but linens and bath accessories were nice. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Hotel is very clean and staff was super friendly and accommodating. These people know what they’re doing. Every interaction we had with any of the hotel staff was great. View from our room was great, overlooking the lake. I would definitely recommend and would stay again myself.

The staff were very friendly. Ana brought our dog a water bowl and some chicken at the restaurant. Lots of green grass and path to walk. It is nice to walk out the sliding door to the grassy area. We will be back.

This was our first time bringing our medium and toy size dog to a hotel. We were nervous how the hotel would treat them and if they would behave. This hotel was incredible. Every worker was super dog friendly. They have special rooms on first floor by grass for people with dogs. Rooms are huge so bringing cages is not an issue. The cars are parked by your room so lugging cages and dogs around are no issue. Special grass areas for dogs but the staff made it clear dogs are welcome everywhere but pool. Rooms semi sound proof which is great if your dog yaps a bit. The hotel is close to old town which has numerous bars, restaurants, shops, parks and more that your dogs are welcome to go to. Very pet friendly town. Highly recommend.
