  Great Pet Room

  The Days Inn Alamosa, was fantastic. Great staff, first floor room by an exit and best of all, the room was not carpeted. More hotels need to learn from this example. Definitely will return!

  If you’re desperate

  Yes the hotel is older. Looks like it has suffered sequences of Ill advised and poorly executed remodels. But the staff was nice and the rooms clean. Toilet worked but the seat was falling off. Overall, if your expectations are low, you’ll be happy!

  Simple

  It was the halfway point in a long drive. It’s clean. That’s it. Grassy area along the highway. Otherwise, you’re surrounded by asphalt.

  Easy to Exit

  Room was next to the side door so it was easy to exit for potty breaks.

  Too tired to care

  My mistake but drove 10+hours that day and just wanted to shower and go to bed. Difficult to get to, no pet relief area, on a busy highway. Had to pick up a coffee maker and bring to the room. Manager hands a brown bag and tells me it’s breakfast because of Covid 19. Which I was ok with. In the morning, I realized that behind the hotel was an empty dirt lot. Still not the best place to walk your dog.

  Fine for a night

  Pros: clean and comfy bed. Cons: weird musty smell in room (I assume it’s from the outdated carpet); VERY thin walls you can hear everything. Probably not worth $130 a night but it was fine.

  No pet hassles

  Check in was easy, no problems. We were given a room next to an exterior door that made taking the elderly dog out during the night easy but the neighborhood seemed a little iffy. The Days Inn is old and the bathroom is miniscule. If pet friendly and a no frills place to sleep for a night is what you are looking for it is great.

  Great folks

  With some places one feels like just another lodger staying the night, here I felt very comfortable and welcomed by Meepe, Irene and Teresa not only by the friendliness but helping out without question on anything I had a need for or directions and helping out when I was getting ready to leave. This beat-up veteran felt welcomed and when I head that direction one again I know that I'll spend time there again.

  Even though the hotel may seem dated, it is very clean. Great stay for your money.

  DAYS INN

  Not a fancy hotel but our room was a good size for two people and two dogs. There was a parking lot behind the hotel that was snow covered but empty and we were able to let our dogs run out there.
