Terrible, terrible place. They charge ridiculous prices for a semi clean and dated hotel. The front desk were condescending and slightly rude. I was informed they were sold out of dog friendly rooms. Her response was, “I’m terribly sorry.” Where am I supposed to sleep? I have a 10 year old daughter and a Great Dane, and we are attending a concert. "I'm sorry" she said again. No effort at all. I stated that I wouldn’t be returning here to this hotel again.
A nice young man went and secured a dog friendly room. He set it up for us, I learned later. They have rooms in a place called the “courtyard” which aren’t much better than drive-in motel rooms. If you advertise a dog-friendly hotel, you should be given the same quality room and treatment and amenities as guests with no dogs. The parking in the courtyard is open to anyone. It isn’t gated or monitored. Anyone off the street can park there.
I was charged $50 to park two feet from my 1.5 star room. I paid almost $350 plus parking. This isn’t a good hotel. The only reason they survive is because of the location. That is it. There are better and much cheaper options in the area. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Oh and last thing. They refused to compensate us in any way for the frustration and inconvenience. However, they did offer us an underwhelming continental breakfast, which should have been included in the price considering the amount we paid. Just awful.
