Unfortunately our stay was not for leisure but because we evacuated from LA for hurricane Ida. The staff was amazing and friendly. The rooms are a little dated but it was convenient, clean, and affordable. There was a place for the pups to potty. It was a good place to stay with dogs. I would definitely go back with my pups to actually enjoy the beach next time.

We stayed 2 nights at the Village Inn but will never stay there again. They only charged us $15/night for our dog. The reality of the motel doesn’t look anything like the pictures! Our room was on the backside and the walkways were really dirty. The curtains in the room were so old that you could see the rips & tears showed with the light coming through. The floor was so dirty that our socks were black. Not kidding - they were black. It was gross. Sheets weren’t tucked in & the mattress pad was loose under the sheet & bunched up as I slept. The location was ok if you want to go to the Boardwalk area. Dewey’s restaurant is just across the street and it was really good.

Our stay was very nice. This hotel is very close to the water and the rooms (though older) were well kept and clean. Having a microwave and 'fridge was a bonus.
