Amerivu Inn & Suites - Helen welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. Only four designated rooms are pet friendly. Guests with pets must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a pet and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Crated dogs may be left in the room unattended. There are small grassy relief areas on the property. Cats are not accepted.

The room was a comfortable size. There was enough parking. The room was quiet. Some small irritants: a bathtub drip and noisy bathroom ceiling fan, were caused by the lack of available repairmen, but easy to understand in our current economy. Staff and owner were pleasant and accommodating, but basically let us enjoy or stay and did not make unneeded contact.

Walking distance to my favorite eateries and drinkeries (if that is a word). The room was clean, though it was carpeted and I prefer hard surfaces. Friendly front desk. I never stayed before because they don't have a nice sign, but it will be my go-to place.
