    It’s Bad

Lobby is some what similar to a police station. Tile is worn thru in the elevators. Door to balcony doesn’t lock…there was a lock it’s ripped off, weather stripping on door is gone so constant whistle and noise from other guests and boardwalk below. Receptacles are worn out making it impossible to charge devices or dry your hair. Floor is dirty. Coffee maker pods don’t fit properly so if you get it to work remember the receptacles are iffy it spits coffee all over. Great location but you can do better.

    Sept 2021 visit

This was our 2nd time staying with furry family members at this location, Paradise Plaza Inn and as before it was great. Thank you!!!

    Better than expected

Pleasantly surprised. The hotel was older, hallways could have been leaner but overall room was clean. The bathroom is very outdated. The balcony was roomy but the dividers to separate the balconies did not go to the floor so had to be cautious that my puppy did not go under to other balconies. There was also no designated area on property to take pets out to go to the bathroom. There was no grass on property. Had to walk 2 blocks to clean grass that was not infested with garbage. Staff was very friendly but was not helpful when asked where we could take the dog to go to the bathroom or the current rules about dogs on the boardwalk or beach.

2.5 Star Hotel But Great Location, Clean, and Accommodating

This was our first crack at a dog friendly hotel. Oceanfront, right on the boardwalk, so the location was great! The hotel and room were dated, but very clean. My husband and I wiped everything down with our own Clorox wipes upon arrival, and the place, including handles, light switches, faucets, floor was spotless. Liked that the floor was tile and not carpeted, and they had us on a section of the floor with other dog visitors. This eased my self-consciousness around potential complaints. I wavered between three and four dog bones because aesthetics matter to me. But, ultimately went with four because the location was so great and the room was clean. We stayed just a day. I wouldn't be able to be there longer than that due to aesthetics.

    Paradise plaza inn

Was a great stay mid March. Room was decent and staff was friendly. Mike the manager was super friendly. Had an oceanfront room so the view was awesome.

    Nice location, but needs updating

The location of the hotel was nice but the inside needed some serious work. Our door was difficult to open with the electronic key, the room was dated and felt dirty.

    Worst

We reserved OF, wheelchair accessible, 1 dog. The room was not accessible and the BR too tiny to get a wheelchair into. The floor was dirty, grime in the slider, bases of furniture with layers of dust. Lobby smelled of pot and the attendant appeared stoned, working in slo-mo. Did not stay, would not let my dog lay there.

    Great location

Room was clean and staff was pleasant and helpful if we needed anything. Buddy enjoyed his time out on the deck watching the seagulls and the folks walking the boardwalk. Nice relaxing week.

    Definitely a dog friendly hotel

Nothing special, tile floors, balcony, lots of dogs, no designated grass areas outside. Trash cans easily accessible.

Great location and great rooms for the price

I definitely was skeptical booking this, but our room ended up being beautiful. And the location is prime and you can walk to almost anything. My dog loved walking with us everywhere and it was nice for him in the hot weather that the flooring in the room was linoleum. My dog is also probably closer to 30 lbs, but we had no issues even though they state a 20 lb weight limit. Honestly an awesome getaway!
