  Very accommodating for pets!

  By far not a 5-star motel, but very pleased having a room immediately next to an exit for quick easy coming and going. Big yard in back to take dogs away from highway. Breakfast was terrible -- really shouldn’t advertise that as an amenity. No Netflix and horrible towels (like most hotels). But for an affordable stay with your pups, it’s a great stay. Clean, affordable, and friendly staff.

  Older but Clean

  Hotel is older but staff does a good job of keeping it clean. No Wi-Fi in room and breakfast was a few items in a brown bag you had to ask for at the reception desk. Okay place to rest for the night on your way through.

  Good stopover

  Usually stay at the White House Inn but it’s gotten very expensive. Decided to try this as an alternative and was very pleased. Hotel was clean and quiet. Will be staying here again.

  Best dog friendly hotel in the area

  We stay in Bangor frequently and this is my go to hotel with and without my dog. Clean, quiet and inexpensive. The difference between dog rooms and non dog rooms is dog rooms have a vinyl planking floor and a dark coverlet as well as located near away from high traffic areas. Otherwise the rooms are just the same as the non-dog rooms. The rooms look to have been recently refurbished and are very clean.

  Don't bother

  Place has gone downhill fast since the last time I stayed. Breakfast in a bag to go, room dirty. Don't waste your hard earned money.

  This place stinks to high heavens, says no smoking however reeks of cigarettes. I’m going to barf!

  Good room, not much else

  On the plus side, the room was pretty clean and didn’t smell. The hallways smelled like pee & cigarettes and had a fan running 24/7. Our windows were unlocked when we arrived (first floor) and when I went to use my key card to get in via the door closest to my room, a long term resident let me know that the lock didn’t work. I’m not a very particular person but I would not recommend this place unless you have no other options.

  The room was nicely refreshed and pup was comfortable, we liked the flooring as opposed to carpeting. Back grassy area was big for pup to roam for a good potty spot but was challenging to navigate in snow (tis the season). Biggest reason for 3 bones is the parking lot was downright dangerous with ice and I took a serious fall. Thankfully nothing broken but I am pretty banged up. Coming from northern NH I understand our winters and had proper footwear on - bottom line, you need to put some sand or salt down for your patrons.

  Good location, nice room, not bad at all. Would stay here again. One of the best prices we could find with pets. Also, great food nearby.

  Great stay

  The room was perfect for us and our 3 pets: it was roomy and clean, and the bed was comfy. We were also happy that the pet fee was reasonable! There is a big grassy field right behind the hotel that is great for walking dogs after a long car ride. The only thing I’d suggest is a trash receptacle out back for poop bags. I didn’t want to leave ours in the extremely full one at the front door (that smell is not something any hotel guests should have to encounter as they come and go), and I’d have liked a better option than squeezing through a partly closed gate to get it into an empty dumpster.

  Good place to stay

  We stayed here with our 7 month old pup and it was great! The room was big enough for all of us, and they had a large back yard that he was able to run around on & play fetch, and we didn’t need to worry about him getting hit or having to chase him into the road.

  Would stay again, was a little expensive but it was also a last minute stop. 🐶
