The 4-star Conference- / Business-Hotel Ambassador & Spa is located in a quiet green area between the river Aare and the Gurten mountain. Nevertheless it is close to the city center with our own tram stop Sch'negg (Line 9) just 7 minutes from the main railway station. We also provide free underground parking. In 2005 the hotel was renovated by star architect Pia Schmidt. The 97 rooms all have A/C bath or shower satellite- and cable-TV (more than 250 channels) radio Wireless-LAN telephone coffee maker safe mini-bar and hairdryer. You can choose the view either Berne's famous mountain park the Gurten and the green countryside view or the UNESCO World Heritage old-town with the Houses of Parliament and the Cathedral M'nster.

Health & Safety
Safe Stay: Hotel Ambassador has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and meets the Clean & Safe (Switzerland) certification for safety and sanitation. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
