From a human standpoint, this hotel is lovely. Five bones. However, as a single woman traveler with a dog, it is not a place I’d stay again. The only green space is Arch Park. It’s a beautiful place for a great walk, but if your dog has to go out after (or before) daylight, you have to leave the hotel, walk down a city sidewalk, cross a street, and enter the park. The closest entrance is tree-lined and dark. A farther entrance is down a sidewalk and around a church. If you’re traveling with a dog, I’d skip it. If not, it’s a great place to stay.

As usual, this Drury property in downtown St. Louis, MO has friendly and attentive staff, clean and comfortable rooms, not-to-be-missed complimentary evening snacks and beverages, and excellent free breakfast. The only drawback to the downtown St. Louis location is that the relief area for dogs is about a block away from the hotel. I was not comfortable taking my dog to the relief area after dark or, to be honest, alone. The downtown location may not be the best choice for people traveling with pets. Otherwise, we LOVE Drury properties!

1st of all— Gregory—the check in man/concierge gets 5 bones! Super nice, problem solver and loves dogs. The hotel is next door to the big St Louis dome if you are attending any events there and a short walk to the Arch. Lots of green space to walk the dogs kitty corner across the street. Our room was very nice though it did smell like a smoker had been there before us. Downgraded hotel 1 bone for that. Otherwise, great!

This hotel has a beautiful lobby. The rooms are very nice and great beds. Nice location downtown. The only negative is that you need to take your dog across a very busy street to go potty at the park. . Nowhere on property for dog relieve himself, but I would definately stay here again because it is so nice.
