  After driving a long ways and getting there very late. The room was dirty from the kitchen forward. The bathroom was the only area that was apparently cleaned. Bed was disgusting and rugs as well. They had us in a joining room and the door did not lock. Having two dogs and not feeling safe with that door opening by accident was concerning. So I went to the front and explained the matter.

  A young girl who was the reception that night said I am sorry I will have maintenance look into tomorrow but we are only staying one night! So I ask to switch rooms she said they have no more rooms in the first floor. But she also after said don’t worry no one is coming to that room tonight. 🤔She just said no other rooms available but then said the one joining mine is empty. So I managed to do what I can to block the door.

  We started getting ready for bed and that’s when I couldn’t take. The bed sheets and mattress were super disgusting and I could not stay in there. I went up front and this time I spoke to a man who was very helpful and he immediately moved us to “a new room on the same floor.” The bed was very clean. The girl was next to him but she was refusing to move us. I asked would you sleep in this bed full of what I described as blood stains all over? Then the man said no and he was again the most helpful person in this place. If staying with a pet, check your room and bed. If this is a pattern, most likely pet rooms are not being cleaned.

  Clean and Friendly

  Great place to stay in Kearney near the interstate and a nice area to stay. Very, nice, clean and comfortable. We had no problems staying with our standard golden doodle.

  Just east is a 13 mile lighted, cement walking path along a stream.

  Clean and Comfy

  This hotel is in a convenient location. There's several small spots for bathroom breaks for your pup. We were put on the fourth floor, but my dogs had fun on the stairs. It's a super comfortable and clean spot. I'd stay again.

  Everyone was so friendly with Oliver during our stay on the way to Denver, so we decided to stay again on our way home to Illinois!

  Location amidst convention center area but some nice, dog friendly dining opportunities close by (brief walking distance). Friendly staff, good breakfast. Ample opportunity to walk the dog.

  All staff was very nice and accommodating. There was a nice lawn for doggie business. Across the parking lot was a very nice restaurant with a dog-friendly patio. Also met other guests who were pleased with the La Quinta.

  Very friendly and helpful staff. Not much grass around for doggie business but enough if you get out and walk a little. A few good restaurants within walking distance. Good size rooms, nice linens, very clean.

  I took a cross country road trip with my dog, and this was the best place I stayed. Very pet friendly, great staff, comfy and clean room, decent free breakfast. I would definitely come back!

  Quick stop

  Unfortunately our travel was delayed due to a death in the family and we got on the road later than originally planned. This put our arrival very late and we needed to leave early the next morning. Our room was clean and quiet and there was sufficient area to walk our pets. However, our schedule didn’t allow us to take full advantage of what was available. Definitely will stop here again.

  Good dog hotel

  Stayed here 2x this month. First time was room nearest elevator, which causes my dog to bark every time the bell rings. Next time, asked for a different room. Required to sign a notice that you get 3 strikes before getting kicked out & fined for excessive barking. Don't let that scare you though, as both times we were there, nearly every room on the 2nd floor had at least 1, and sometimes 2 dogs. Actually pretty quiet both times. Breakfast included is ok. Site outside for dogs including bags. A solid 3/4 bone dog hotel.

  Super duper pet friendly hotel

  Staff was efficient and friendly, hotel was very clean, there were several eating areas so people who have allergies or don’t little pets could breakfast at a distant table. Located right off the highway but well built So I never heard highway noise. Convenient to downtown (try Cunninghams for a good meal with patio seating). The room was very comfortable, although some might not like that all power ruins are on the second floor. Definitely staying here on the return trip.

  Friendly helpful Staff. Clean room and plenty of towels without having to ask for more. Husband enjoyed the hot breakfast. The only thing that would have made it better would have been “pet fee free”

  Pristine hotel

  The hotel seemed brand new and in perfect condition, very clean. The beds were super comfortable and it was very quiet. The only thing we didn’t like is that the pet/friendly rooms are all on the second floor. That was a big problem because my Great Danes are terrified of elevators and stairs!

  Our first hotel with 2 dogs. Hotel lives up to its 5-bone rating, though the note was very busy (full) and our room seemed to get a lot of hallway and outside foot traffic noise and slamming doors that our newest (and older) dog struggled to ignore. I was surprised they put us in a 2nd floor room right next to the stairwell. Will try and avoid that in the future.

  Not enough green space for dog. Hotel had a flood a few weeks back. Hot breakfast was not available. The gave us a bagged breakfast instead. All bags were the same.

  Nice, clean, and pet-friendly hotel with great service!

  All the staff at this La Quinta were excellent, professional, and very kind. We checked in and checked out with no friction, and were accommodated without question when we discovered a leak in our window. Their customer service, maintenance, and cleaning services are excellent and we were able to stay there comfortably with our two dogs!

  Perfect in every way!

  We stayed at this location on the way out & back from Colorado. The staff was friendly, rooms were excellent & the location was right off of I-80. This was our first hotel stay with our dog and the experience couldn’t have been better! There were many dogs staying in the hotel but we didn’t hear anything while in our room. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

  Excellent location

  I make it a point to stay at places with a 5-bone rating ever since having a very unpleasant experience at one with a 4-bone rating. This LaQuinta has a well-deserved high rating. The whole property is super clean and quiet. In addition, there are several wonderful food options within easy walking distance. The hotel clerk even gave us a 10% discount coupon for the Angus Burger restaurant which had excellent food. There were still some Covid restrictions in place, but that didn't spoil our experience at all. We will stay there again.

  Excellent hotel in the middle of Nebraska

  We’ve been on a cross country trip so have been staying in many places. This La Quinta is the most comfortable place so far! Very clean, great bed, quiet, and a good exercise lawn for dogs. Highly recommended. Sara at the front desk was friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with.

  Just off the highway with good food nearby. Room was clean and updated. We've stayed here a few times and have always enjoyed our stay. However, because of Covid they aren't serving breakfast but are handing out bagged snacks.

  Great location. Very close to I 80 and many choices to dine in or take out. Room was spacious, newer and very comfortable. Rooms were well sound proofed. Great for our dog, which is easily agitated. We will be back.

  The room was nice. It has a refrigerator, microwave and a safe in it! There was plenty of room for our dogs. The pet fee was a reasonable $20 and there were potty bags and disposal places on two sides of the building. It was a nice stop for us and our two dogs. The fact that they allow larger dogs is a big plus! Big dogs need a nice place to rest, too!! (Too often hotels limit the weight of the dog.)

  Sooo nice!

  Recently remodeled hotel that seemed step above a normal La Quinta! Very clean, comfortable and the people were very pleasant. There is not really an area to take the dogs but we walked back behind the building a long road and there was a plenty of space for themTo do their business and have a walk. Would definitely recommend if you’re traveling with dogs.

  This was probably one of the best dog friendly hotels we have stayed in yet. It was very clean and quiet. Great places to walk around and plenty of grassy areas for your pup! Would definitely stay here again!

  We have three large dogs and rented two rooms at La Quinta during our Chicago-to-San-Francisco road trip (we get two rooms because two of our dogs don't get along well and because there is a two-dog-per-room limit). The person to whom I spoke on the phone to make the reservation and the (different) person who checked us in were SO incredibly nice. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, the premises new and inviting. It is really difficult to find places to stay with three large dogs and decidedly more difficult to find someplace where you actually *want* to stay. This hotel is that and more. We will definitely be back every time we make this annual trip.

  Clean rooms and lobby. Average hotel breakfast. Busy hotel with a lot of people staying with their pets. Multiple outdoor dog stations. We stayed with 2 large dogs and we felt very welcome. Hotel is situated with many other hotels so surrounded by parking lots. Hotels were busy when we stayed. Only downside was that there was no good spot to walk dogs without parking lot traffic. I would recommend this hotel for a good place to stay with your dogs.
