The owners, Debbie & Van are amazing, super helpful with local info as well as hikes and biking references. The motel rooms are simple with a small kitchenette and comfy beds. Cabins range from luxurious to simple depending on your taste. The entire property has an amazing view of the Black Mountain range including Mt Mitchell. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway and a number of waterfalls & hikes.
We found this hidden gem six years ago and have been returning a couple times each year since. (Even got married here.)
