  Stopped here with our two dogs on our move from Arizona to Wisconsin. It was on the way to our next interstate turn instead of going out of our way. Front desk waived our pet fee since my husband is a veteran. Overall the 1st floor room needed improvement but it was clean, that’s what’s important to us. Parking lot was well lit. Ordered Applebee’s across the street through DoorDash. Could’ve done without the junkies passed out in the Fuddruckers next door. I’d avoid stopping in Albuquerque in general, but there probably won’t be a next time.

  Will stay again

  The hotel personnel were very welcoming of our dog. Nice quiet room with easy access to area to walk our dog; 2 restaurants within very easy walk for take-out. Lots of room to park our car with trailer in well-lit area. Nice size room fridge and microwave included.

  Good location

  The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was an excellent dog friendly brewery and restaurant across the street. Just what we needed after a long day of driving.

  No Bueno

  Wont stay here again. At check in the clerk was blah. No "hello" No "welcome" just "your name please." That was about it. She did say "so you have a dog with you." Not very welcoming or nice. The room was old, outdated, and gross carpet. Loud noise all night long. Could hear the neighbors. Nope. Not for me.

  Razor thin walls, no internet, clogged drains, loud A/C, and the surrounding area outside looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in 6 months.

  The room was fairly clean and they were fine with giving me a room on the first floor. There is a small grassy area but one of my dogs stepped on something that hurt her enough to make her jump backwards yelping. Around 11pm a fight broke out right outside of my door with yelling and cussing and someone getting slammed into the wall. The parking lot was noisy all night. Barely slept. Will not stay there again.

  Good for pets and their humans

  The room was large enough to accommodate our small dog and medium kennel. All rooms are outside access. There is a small grass area with poop bags and trash can for the pups. the neighborhood had sidewalks for walking the dog. The room was very basic but comfortable. The mattress was firm and seemed newer. there was a large desk, a dresser, microwave and mini fridge. The towels were of good quality and the amenities were good brands. Paul Mitchell hair products. There were areas that were dusty, so maybe the room hadn't been occupied in a while. It was otherwise clean. There were several chain restaurants nearby. There was a free breakfast, but we did not check it out.

  Clean and inexpensive

  Our hotel experience on our major road trip has been hit and miss, but the Albuquerque Airport La Quinta was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and the price was right! $99

  Climbing stairs with dogs isn't fun

  They stuck us on the 3rd floor which isn't a lot of fun when you need to take pups out. The stairs are crumbling and really are not safe for the hike up three floors, especially with a suitcase.

  Disgusting Hotel

  This hotel’s grounds were despicable. The doggie area was not maintained. There was dog poop everywhere. The doggie bag station was empty and the garbage at the station had not been emptied in days. Additionally, the pool was half filled with green water and there was garbage floating in it!! We will never stay at this location again! I can’t imagine that the health department would allow this place to remain open as is.

  Dirty, creepy, dirty

  This was not the clean place in the photos. So worn out and just plain dirty. Filthy dirty. There was no where for the dogs to go to the bathroom that didn’t have broken glass. We considered finishing our 7 hour drive home but we were so tired. It was horrible. The bedding and towels were clean but the sofa and chairs were broken and stained. It was 3rd floor and no elevator and really needing paint and cleaning on exterior. No locks on exterior doors and in a rough neighborhood. Nope.

  Front desk was helpful in trying to find quiet location, but super sketchy neighbors at all hours. Room was clean and water pressure was great.

  It’s an older hotel. The doors face outside which is nice for us pet owners. Staff was friendly!

  Good food nearby for the weary traveler.

  Comfortable and clean room. Mostly stone landscaping which is great idea for area. Grass at the edge of the motel brought pups relief. Thankful for an elevator to our 2nd floor room!

  Run down

  This hotel needs some TLC as the exterior is old and worn out. Also, there are 3 stories and no elevator. When you have a cat, a cat box and his other stuff, plus all of our human stuff it is difficult to get it all to the third floor. The room was updated and clean. For the price it was okay.

  Affordable Road Trip Lodging

  This La Quinta location was just fine for one night on the road with our Pug. Clean and comfortable and the on-site restaurant was very convenient. There's a grassy area for potty and a neighborhood behind the hotel for a longer walk. Only issue: consider adding a few healthier option to the breakfast offerings. A good value.

  Lots of dogs which was great. We needed a place to stay for a night headed to AZ from the Midwest. For 7 hours, it was cheap, available and had relatively easy access off the 25 south of I-40. The rooms are spacious and dog friendly (no carpets). The La Quinta just north of I-40 (also off the 25) is in a slightly better condition and has a large partially fenced area behind the hotel that is great for dogs.

  Not Great

  We stayed in room 205. This room faces a very noisy highway and the noise was amazing. No fridge! No microwave! The staff were helpful and professional, but the room was disappointing. From our room, it was a long distance to the other side of the hotel to the doggy grass area. It would be tough on a dog, walking that distance on hot pavement.
