Older building being renovated, the sign says; the carpet and chairs have not been replaced in my room while the bed and tv setups are new. It smells damp and musty. No elevator in the building and they put us on the second floor. I have to go out with the dog more than once, they do know that? I also have a hip problem and do not do stairs well. No offer to move me and said it was the only thing available and a no refund reservation.

This is a very tired hotel. They were nice enough to our dog and gave us no issues with her staying. There is no elevator and we were put on the second floor. Our bed was firm, our TV didn't work, and the wallpaper was torn in the bathroom. Cheap place if you are just looking for a place to crash for the night.

Convenient motel location with Wegmans across the street, Walmart & Starbucks down the street, and all levels of restaurants close by. Room was clean and good size on 1st floor halfway down from main entrance and side exit (I.e. safe) with nice view of pond. Lots of towels and a large TV including my spouses most important channel: Hallmark. Only negative was the parking lot entrance potholes, but lot had lots of availability. Also, the free basic breakfast included decent coffee.

I would give more bones, but the nice grassy area was full of dog poop. Fida and I were well treated, and they were welcoming. It's probably not the motel's fault as much as dog owners not picking up.

Super 8 Candaigua was a fine place to stay with my dog. The staff as very welcoming and thank god gave me a first floor room . I do prefer a hotel where rooms open to the outside so I can drive up to the room rather than always going in and out through the lobby so that was the only real negative here. Other "negative" is that the room I booked was two double beds with no extras but what I got (for the same price) was two queen beds with fridge and microwave. Now, I did appreciate the fridge; had I known there would be a microwave I would have brought some microwaveable food instead of all ready to eat. The problem with the queen beds was I brought sheets to cover the beds but one was too small since I expected double beds and as the dog was shedding she left hair on the bedspread and I felt bad about this. Also in light of COVID I had asked for NO housekeeping but that message did not get relayed so housekeeping did come in and attempt to clean my messy room.
