The style and location of the hotel is fantastic and the service was friendly. But we were disappointed that our pup was not allowed on the outdoor roof deck which required us to take turns enjoying the views and fare up there. There seemed to be no good reason for the restriction.

The rooftop bar and restaurant are the only non dog-friendly places in the hotel! They don’t tell you that ahead of time. There’s no other restaurant except for microwaved food in the bar. Won’t stay here again

I stayed one night at Aloft and they were super friendly to my pup. They don't have a pet charge, which is great. It's also right there along the Riverwalk making it a great place to take the dog for a nice long walk without traffic.

The location is good. However, we had to wait 30 minutes to check in. When we got in the room, the floor was still wet from being mopped with bleach water. For $300 a night, expect a little better than that. Good things, the staff was super friendly and very helpful.
