  Noisy place

  It locates near both Rt76 & 99, which means it is a great location for distribution and transportation business. As a result, this hotel is surrounded by track depos. And it was quite noisy whole night. Also noticed there was a car parked right outside our window with head lights on. Three young ladies were in at that time, at 3AM when I took my pooch out for pee they were still there but when returned in 15 min, the car was still there but ladies were gone. Easy to imagine what their business is. Also noticed there was so much garbage around their parking lot. We decided to leave at 4AM. Not much good rest.

  Don’t bother

  If I could give this outfit zero bones, I would. When we arrived, having requested a room on the first floor, we were told that pet rooms were only available on the second floor? OK, where’s the elevator? There is no elevator. That’s a problem, my wife is handicapped. Oh, let me call the manager. Time passed. In a few minutes, a surly woman appeared and told me she wasn’t going to stand there and argue with me. You got that right, give me my money back (prepaid through BringFido). That will take several days she said. And there are no other places in town that take pets, she lied. We went up the street about a block and checked into the Quality Inn, which takes pets, including our 120lb Rottweiler-Lab mix.

  After a long day on the road, this was the only time we’ve encountered such unresponsive, surly, lying behavior in decades of traveling with our dogs. You’ve been warned.

  Only stay here if you need to stay a night. They are not dog friendly.

  Better than expected

  This was mostly a sleeping room for me. Stayed for four nights while on a business trip in Bedford.

  Things I liked:
  - friendly staff
  - continental breakfast was decent, as long as I got there early while there was still sausage and yogurt
  - had enough of a grassy area outside for dogs (more grass than some hotels where I've stayed, less than others)
  - easy access to my room, up maybe 9 or 10 steps

  Things I didn't like:
  - stayed during a snowstorm, and the parking lot and sidewalk seemed completely untreated. There was a sign up outside, warning "Sidwalk May Be Icy!"
  - CNN on the TVs in the lobby and breakfast room. I wouldn't have been happy about Fox News, either, FYI. I don't like politics shoved in my face while I'm trying to relax. The Weather Channel would've been a better option. Especially consider that the breakfast room has a sign that says something like, "all food must be eaten here, not taken to your room," so I had to watch Don Lemon while I enjoyed my waffle. Could've done without that.

  I will stay here again, because I'll be in Bedford more often, and this is by far the best pet-friendly value in town.
