The host is also the home owner who lives on site. Always available.

Looking for something different than the neighborhood and traffic? We are just 45 mins from Historical Charleston and 2 mins from Moncks Corner. The home is completely secluded, sitting back from the road, down a private drive on 21 acres. The Gazebo sits on the stocked pond where fishing poles are already waiting for you.

Room descriptions (4)

The Retro Theme (Purple Room):
This room features a queen bed, dresser and walk in closet, work desk and chair, end table, 32” smart tv w/Netflix, room darkening curtains. The room has hardwood floors and locks from the inside. The bathroom is attached and private, double sinks, has towels/washcloths and toilet paper. This room is located on the second floor.

Child Themed Room (Boys Spider-Man)
This room features a full size bed, dresser/closet, hardwood floors, 32” smart tv w/Netflix. This room is decorated in a child theme of trucks and tractors. Door locks from the inside and room is on the second floor. Bathroom is shared and one door down, has washcloth/towels, and toilet paper.

The Master #2 (Camouflage Room):
The bedroom has a queen sized bed, dresser, 32” smart tv w/Netflix. Room is carpeted and located on the second floor. There is a bonus room has a full bed, light, end table and plenty of additional room for an air mattress. Perfect for younger children you want to keep close. This add-on does have two French doors that do close for privacy. The room locks from the inside and has its own ac thermostat. The bathroom is shared and one door down the hall, directly off the back staircase. Bathroom has washcloths/towels, and toilet paper.

The Office:
This room is actually an office in my home. The room has a fireplace, craft room, storage closet, desk, chair, and sofa. The sofa DOES not pull out, but it does have 3 recliners that pop out. Hardwood floors and locks from the inside.
The bathroom is private and attached. Towels/washcloths and toilet paper are provided.

**All rooms come with extra sheets, pillows, washcloths, towels, and any cleaning supplies you may need during your stay at no extra charge. There is also a guest closet with personal hygiene products, if you happen to need any, also free to guests. I want your stay to be spent enjoying the atmosphere, not trying to find a toothbrush!
Guests have access to all parts of the home, less the master bedroom.

The following are shared spaces:
The livingroom has an “L” shaped sofa that has 5 recliners and a 65” smart tv with Netflix. There are plenty of dvds and board games as well in this space.
The kitchen has TWO flat top stoves, an oven, and dishwasher. All cooking necessities are at your disposal. There is a guest full size fridge and freezer in the garage should you want to bring anything to cook. The pantry also has two shelves for guests items. You may eat at the counter on stools or in the dining room for a more intimate setting.
The Gazebo located at the pond has fishing poles and tackle ready for you to enjoy. There are also rocking chairs and a swing for you to watch the sun up and down. A paddle boat is waiting on the bank of the pond for a ride around the pond.
The fire pit is located to the left of the pond. Wood is also available for a quiet bon fire to roast marshmallows.
The above ground pool has floats and diving tools ready. We have towels.
The screened in back patio has cushioned outdoor furniture. ceiling fans are also on to cool things down. The bbq grill has a propane bottle that is always full and ready to be used.
The front porch also has 2 swings and 4 rocking chairs for you to sit and enjoy the quite.
The office has a dedicated work space with fax/scan/copy/printer, touch screen computer, and all the office items you would need should you need to use the computer.
The craft room is LOADED with crafts, hand paint, sand art, crayons, coloring books, etc to entertain any child.
The laundry room features a commercial stainless steel washer and dryer. Ironing board is also available.
There is a dog pen with an electric gate, dog house, water and food bowls should you need to leave your pet for the day to sight see.
A chicken coop is also on the property for fresh eggs.
A private road will take you through the woods to an opening to 11 cleared acres on the back of the property should you feel like exploring nature.
The home has its own private road and can not be seen by the highway for extra seclusion. Extremely quiet!
There garage has a commercial ice machine so we never run out.
Just a few things I thought you might want to know before booking.
The pond is not fenced in and goes from 3 foot to 18 feet deep very quickly, should you be traveling with small children or pets who can’t swim, please watch them carefully!
Your in the country now! And we have critters y’all ain’t seen yet! Some are harmless and others not so nice. Just a few to throw at you: ticks, chiggers/red bugs, deer, snakes, possums, etc.
We also have poison Ivy and poison sumac so please use your best judgment as to where you wonder off too.

Pet Rules: Please do not let your Pets on the furniture, this includes the beds and outside patio furniture. I do have 2 Golden Retrievers in the home, so please book accordingly if your pet doesn’t get along with others. Unfortunately, I can’t accept cats in the home due to the fact that I don’t like them, I mean, I have allergies. Should you leave for the day, pets must be crated or placed in the outdoor pen, they can not wonder freely around the rooms, or placed in the private bathrooms, no matter how much you think they won’t bark or whine or chew the bottom of my doors while your gone. Please clean up your pets waste and don’t let them use the restroom on the lawn (kills the grass) They may use the restroom across from the driveway.

House Rules:
1)No food or drinks in the bedrooms.
2)Quite time is from 11pm to 6am. Should you arrive late for any reason, please let the host know before hand.
3)No over night guests who are not on the reservation as paid guests, my home isn’t a brothel. 4)Should you need someone to visit, please let the host know before she walks in the door and finds them in her fridge.
5)Please clean up the kitchen behind yourself. The dishwasher is available so there should be no excuse.
6)No smoking of any kind inside the house, this includes vaping. There are designated smoking areas outside.
7)No parties or events without 30 day notice.
8)No alcohol or drugs of any kind.
9) If you use the paddle boat, please place it back on the ponds edge and put the tarp over it when you are finished. Should you pop any lines on the fishing poles provided, please don’t just leave them at the gazebo, let the host know so they can be fixed, accidents happen.
10) Please pull the grill away from the house so it doesn’t melt the siding (yes this has happened 3 times now), turn off the propane bottle when done, clean, and put cover back on.
11) There is a designated Fire Pit Area by the pond. This is only place for a fire. Please don’t leave it burning over night or all day, put it out when finished. I don’t need Smokey The Bear knocking at the door.
12) The pond goes from 3 foot to an 18 foot deep drop quickly. Please watch small children and animals that can not swim.
13) Please provide the names of all guests on the booking, and the ages of any children, this isn’t a restaurant, please tell me the kids real ages.
14) Please don’t move patio furniture from the porch into the lawn. If you need a “yard” chair, ask and the host will get you one.
15) please do not adjust the ac thermostat, I have 5 ac units for the home, it’s the South, it’s always this hot!
16) The home isn’t infant/toddler friendly, or child proofed. Please consider before booking.
Pool Rules: Please don’t hang on the ladder or sides. NO JUMPING from the ladder or sides. . Put pool toys back where they belong. Wet towels can be hung on the rack on the porch. Please do not come inside dripping wet or with a wet towel. No food or drink allowed in or near the pool. Please don’t use the bathroom in the pool. There is red dye in the pool and it will rat you out and you won’t be able to enjoy it again. No pets allowed in the pool. Pool hours are from 11 am -8pm. Please no more than 2-3 Floats at a time. Please don’t try to pop the floats.The home is not child proof! I do have stairs they can fall down, a pool, and a pond.
