When we checked Into our reserved “suite room,”. We were told dogs were not allowed in there. It said nothing of this when we reserved online. This same person checking us in told us we also could not leave the dog in our room unattended. We brought a cage to put her in when we left, but she said that was not ok. We ended up having to take our dog with us, and kennel her in her cage in our car. We were lucky the weather was ok for this otherwise I do t k ow what we would have done. She was rude, and unwilling to help us. Very frustrating and stressful experience.

We booked a room at the Super 8 in Brookings as a last minute stop. We couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel was clean, brand new interior, plenty of grassy areas to walk the dog, staff was very friendly to our big dog (65 lbs). Pet fee was reasonable at $10+tax.
We were accidentally charged for the room twice: once by BringFido.com and once by Super8 the next day. We called BringFido.com and they fixed it immediately. We were very happy with our experience here and would most definitely come back if we're in the area again.

Health & Safety
Safe Stay: Super 8 by Wyndham Brookings has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the Count on Us (Wyndham) cleanliness and sanitization policy. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks. This property advises that guests without full COVID-19 vaccination must wear masks.
