The room smelled like dog pee.

We stayed while traveling through for a move with two dogs. I understand that they are dog rooms but they could have better maintenance. Furniture was scratched and door to bathroom was broken on the bottom. Shower had wearing so bad looked like sand was at the bottom of the tub. I would expect more from a place being for dogs doesn’t mean a hole in the wall.

The hotel was closely located to the freeway, and the town of Green River. It was also about an hour away from the Arches National Park, which is why we chose this hotel. It was much less expensive than anything in Moab. Overall, no complaints.

I’m guess I am getting old and grumpy. We stayed there to pick up melons from the famous melon growers. This place is tired. I can tell that they are starting to update. Beds are great and so are the pillows. The chairs are horribly soiled and the bed spreads are from the 70’s. Carpet is well past its pull date. The shower/bathtub had worn through to the substrate. We stayed because it is dog friendly but we have other choices and will be exploring them. Staff was great.

The staff was great - friendly and very helpful and great towards the dogs. The rooms though were less than great. Fairly rundown and in dire need of renovation. Would I stay here again? Yes, but only because there are no other stops for hours in either direction.

Everyone, from check in to the service staff was very dog-friendly and welcoming. There are adequate spaces outside for potty breaks and it's not hard to walk around a bit and stretch your legs. Access in and out of the building with two dogs pulling on harnesses was fairly easy, as was loading luggage. (I travel alone, so the logistics of getting in and out are always a challenge for me.) But as I feel is on brand for Super 8, the hotel itself was a little on the shabby side. Still, I gave it 4/5 because you get what you pay for and it was acceptable for a one night stay.

The hotel itself is nice enough. There were stains on the sheets and the bath tub faucet leaked constantly, but the staff were incredibly friendly and the bed was comfy enough to get a good night’s rest. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared to walk or drive if you’re looking to dine out. The views around the area are gorgeous and there’s plenty of room to walk and play with your dogs.
