The resort is situated on the banks of the Potomac River and an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Jr. Championship golf course. Lansdowne Resort and Spa offers a fresh environment with a total property renovation completed in March 2005. In addition to championship golf the property offers a full-service spa health club and beauty salon golf pro shop clubhouse and practice facility lighted tennis courts three swimming pools racquetball and a kids club. Guest can dine at four restaurants or enjoy in-room dining. Other services include valet laundry business center concierge valet parking complimentary self parking. All 296 guest rooms have been redesigned with contemporary decor and colors and feature high speed internet access coffee makers hairdryers iron and ironing board upscale spa bath amenities lighted makeup mirrors robes and cable television with in-room movies and Nintendo.
