If you like a beautiful setting to walk your dog, this inn is for you. In addition to the on-site, fenced dog park, the sprawling grounds include a small lake, formal boxwood garden, outdoor pool and children's playground. The building exteriors are impressively attractive and the rooms are clean and well appointed.

So this is a great place to stay with your dog, but my experience was not great. I don't believe in writing bad reviews, I always try to see the glass half full. I got to hotel and had to change rooms 3 times with my 80 year old mother and my 25 pound French bulldog. Apparently the do not have the capacity to find a room that's pet friendly and handicap friendly. Again, it's a great place to stay with your pet; grounds are absolutely beautiful. No room service except for breakfast. Not a bad hotel, but my experience was not great.

This was our first time bringing our puppy to a hotel. They have a nice walking trail and a large area to let you pup out to play and what not. very clean. I did feel bad for other guests. Our dog wasn’t used to all the noises of neighbors and was very nervous and barked at a lot of noises. So sorry. Great room!

Very pet-friendly staff and hotel. We got to eat breakfast at the Swan Terrace restaurant outside and the fenced areas for off leash time (only if your dog won’t jump a short fence) made this a great stay. Within half a mile walk on sidewalk is Care-A-Lot pet supply where they have a self wash station and huge selection of treats/food/toys etc.

The hotel is beautiful with comfy rooms. It is right off the highway so it's easy to get to. There was a dedicated spot to walk Buddy.

Stayed at the Founders in July 2020 with my border collie. We had a great room on the first floor and it was quiet and comfortable, as well as very clean and socially distant during the pandemic. The grounds were beautiful for walking around. Best part was the two giant fenced-in areas for getting in some frisbee and ball chasing exercise! About a 25 minute drive from the beach, but not a bad drive. Don’t pass this hotel up if you have a dog that loves to run!

Awesome stay at this beautiful inn. Rooms clean, but a little dated. Grounds gorgeous, and dinner was great. I would definitely come back.
