- AmyJun 26, 2023Amazing views…just not as amazing as the pics lead you to believe
This was a great cabin on top of a mountain with amazing views. However, the pics on BringFido are a bit old, as the trees have grown quite a bit and are in the way of half of the view. Still pretty amazing, though. A few caveats about this place in regards to your pup:
-the floors are all bare wood or laminate and can be slippery for some dogs
- there isn’t much of a spot to use outside for potty needs and you need to be very aware of cars coming from either direction without much warning or room to get off to the side
- the only way to get to the second floor is a spiral staircase (which our greyhound can’t do at all)
- if your dog gets carsick, this may not be the place for you as the only way up and down the mountain is a narrow, winding road which takes about 10 minutes one way
That being said, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have loved the relaxing vibe being surrounded by nature in this comfortable cabin!
