Excellent room & staff. Only a couple of things to keep me from giving it a perfect score. When we turned on the local news there was an article about addressing the problems the city was having at the corner of 2nd & Division. That is the exact location of the hotel! Otherwise, the hotel felt secure, convenient & comfortable. However there wasn’t a dedicated dog relief space outside. I doubled & tripled up with other dog owners to go outside of the immediate perimeter which was occupied by sketchy individuals.
Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. The coffee, eggs, potatoes & toast were fresh & quite tasty & made for a great way to start the day. We’d certainly stay here again & am pleased the city is currently working on crime issues in the area. - JamesSep 9, 2023Love La Quinta, hate this location
My dog & I have stayed at several La Quinta hotels recently. The downtown Spokane is very similar in quality and features but it doesn't have a designated area for your pet to relieve itself and is in kind of a scary neighborhood. I live in an urban area and am used to houseless people but there was some major craziness going on in the hotel's parking lot. There was not a security presence although the lot is fenced and well light. The same hotel 6 blocks north would have been great.

Friendly staff, dog treats at registration, good breakfast, and parking strip for dogs. A bit sketchy arriving in evening but hotel is security locked/key entry.

The hotel itself was nice and it’s locked 24/7, but the homeless around it made it a little scary to take the pup out to the bathroom, and there was minimal grass around the edge of the hotel to take her.

The hotel was clean and the hot breakfast was delicious. I gave it a 4 because of the location. It was noisy and there was a large homeless population surrounding the hotel.
