My Dog Soldier At Alamo Hts Bark Park

This photo was taken at Dog Park at Olmos Basin Park in San Antonio, TX. Soldier lying on the cool concrete pad at the water fountain in the big dog area. We stopped there at 2 pm on a hot Texas summer weekday afternoon. There were no dogs there to play with. Dirt and gravel surface was rather hot (as compared to grass). Lots of shady spots under trees. Water trough was turned off.
