Dogs at the Biltmore Estate

This photo was taken at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Your dog will feel like American royalty while visiting the grounds at The Biltmore Estate.

Your pup will love strolling through the hundreds of manicured acres on the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this 8,000-acre property offers you and your furry friend over 20 miles of hiking trails and 2.5 miles of paths through manicured gardens. Relax with a glass of wine at Biltmore Winery’s Bistro or have a bite to eat at Cedric’s Tavern (named for George Vanderbilt’s Saint Bernard). Dogs must remain leashed at all times and are not allowed in any buildings. Admission fees start at $94 for adults. Children under 10 and dogs are admitted for no extra fee.

For an alternative view of the estate’s lush grounds, take a six-mile kayak tour with French Broad Outfitters. Enjoy paddling with your pooch past the 19th-century house, stables, Inn, Antler Hill Village, and winery. The kayak tour operates from April through October, and trips start at $45. Dogs float for free.
