Victor & Valentino's First Rafting Adventure

This photo was taken at Edge of the Woods Outfitters in Delaware Water Gap, PA. I took my boyfriend Victor away on vacation for his birthday to the Poconos and brought his "Best Buddy" with us because he is only 6 months old, full of energy and very attached to his Daddy. Our first adventure was rafting down the Delaware Water Gap with Edge of The Woods Outfitters. James set us up and picked us up and he was awesome! Very knowledgeable and helpful even when Valentino jumped off of the boat and back on land James waited until we safely got him back on board. We rafted for 6 miles in 2-1/2 hours (could've done more). We stopped for lunch and enjoyed a break. While going down the river Valentino drank from the river like a big water dish, napped in the sun, was on every side of the boat and finally thought he could walk on water (I anticipated him trying this) thankfully he had on a life jacket that we got him with two handles on top so we both reached in and scooped him back up. He didn't try jumping in anymore after that, just sat and enjoyed the ride, wildlife and scenery. If you take your dog a life jacket is a definite must. I would highly recommend Edge of The Water Outfitters and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great adventure!
