Maddy at Max’s

This photo was taken at Max's Bar & Grill in Long Branch, NJ. We have lived in Long Branch 5 years and had not gone here until today. My husband and I each got a hot dog (“the dog & pig”) with cheese and bacon. I’m not a huge fan of hot dogs. But this was really good. Crisp on the outside, good amount of bacon and a slice of American cheese. I’d like another piece of cheese, please. But as far as hot dogs go it was was really good. I’d give it a 9 (only because I like a little more cheese). My husband who eats hot dogs a lot more than I’d like him to, says, it was an 8.5 and gave no reason for his rating. I did not eat the fries. The atmosphere was cool. People are relaxed and chillin’ out. Our 70 pound Bernedoodle sat nicely under the table only to emerge when hot dog was offered to her. We sat inside at a table close to the door because we wanted an easy exit in case our fur baby misbehaved. It was a nice time. Plus parking was easy here. Check out their menu (they have more than hot dogs and a good bar), grab your dog to grab a dog!
