Walatowa Slot Canyon at Jemez Pueblo. Beautiful trail in red Rock canyons, there are a couple of small grated bridges that may be difficult or scary for some dogs, I have a heeler and heeler mix that took it as a challenge. The walk to the slot canyon is optional. Its about 1.5 miles, and about 2 miles if you do the slot canyon. I would say the trail goes from easy to moderate, I did not go to the very end of the slot canyon as it becomes all rock/ boulders and I didn't feel it was safe with the dogs to continue. Be sure to bring water for yourself and the dogs.
