Making new friends.

This photo was taken at Campland On the Bay in San Diego, CA. This little girl politely asked if she could pet my 6 mo rescue Aurora (border collie/sky terrier mix). Following a tender hug from the young girl, Aurora continued to sit contentedly next to her as if they had been friends forever. The young girl’s dad proceeded to tell me that the family dog just crossed the rainbow bridge 2 weeks ago earlier. 🥹
