The Deck

This photo was taken at The Deck Bangkok in Bangkok, TH. The Deck Bangkok is a cafe, garden bar and neighbourhood social club at 15 Sukhumvit Soi 20, five minutes from BTS Asok exit 6. It runs across two floors. The Upper Deck is an open, leafy garden with proper shade, and downstairs there is an air-conditioned bistro. Together they hold up to 260 standing, which makes the place work equally well for a quiet coffee at 7:30am and a company party for a couple of hundred. The kitchen is open from 7.30am until11pm, bar until midnight, every day. Breakfast & brunch run until 2pm. The menu moves between Thai, Western and Mexican, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options a kids & pet menu. There is something on most nights. Margarita Monday, all-you-can-eat Taco Tuesday at 380++, half-price snacks on Wednesday, and a free pub quiz every Thursday at 7.45pm hosted by BKK Quiz Masters. Fridays are dinner under the stars. Weekends bring free flow from 11 to 4 at 699++, and a free Kids Club on Sunday mornings 11am. Happy hour runs 8am to 7pm, with beers at 99++, cocktails at 199++ and wine by the glass at 149++. Dogs are genuinely welcome, in the garden & inside. There is a full pet menu, made fresh with no added salt or seasoning, and a Deck Dog Club that stamps a paw for every visit & feeds your dog free on the 10th. Regulars join THE LIST through LINE at @thedeckbkk, which brings coffee stamps and birthday treats. Private and conference rooms are available for meetings, launches and weddings. A second site opens soon at K Village, Sukhumvit 26.
