San Diego Dog Training with IQ K9 Training - Bret Geller

This photo was taken at IQ K9 Training in Fallbrook, CA. Bret Geller, Co-Owner and Managing Director of ‘IQ K9 Training’ has been competing in dog sports for over 12 years.Bret began competing in the sport of Flyball in 2001 in Las Vegas on the Touch N Go Flyball team. Flyball is a dog sport in which teams of dogs race against each other from a start/finish line, over a line of hurdles, to a box that releases a tennis ball to be caught when the dog presses the spring-loaded pad, then back to their handlers while carrying the ball. Bret actually invented and built the first ‘heavy’ box in flyball which greatly aided in the training of the dogs, helping his team stay on top! During his many years on Touch N Go, the team won two U-FLI Championships. Touch N Go flyball team has broken many world records and is still the fastest team in the world.Bret is currently competing in DockDogs and his love for training and conditioning his dogs has helped earned him an invitation to the DockDogs World Championship with his Border Collie Whippet mix (Border Whippet) ‘Soldier’ during his first year of introducing ‘Soldier’ to the fast-paced sport, in the water, called Speed Retrieve.
