Several years ago I took two of my Pomeranian’s and my old English sheepdog to be boarded for approximately a week, Until our new place was ready to move-in. The two Pomeranians belonged to my five and seven-year-old. When I went to pick them up I was only given my old English sheepdog. The owner of the hotel gave me some ridiculous reason as to why he was not turning over my Pomeranians. He literally screamed at me , and intimidated me and I felt very threatened , it was at the end of the day and no one else was there. I had several conversations with an employee of this pet hotel prior to coming to pick up my dogs, when I spoke to him he sounded concerned and wanted to make sure I was coming to get them that day. I learned he was no longer working there. Suspicious? He was the only one that Could tell me what happened. I don’t know if he stole my dogs or Was careless, perhaps another dog attacked them. If you love your pets as I do, DO NOT take them to the La Mesa pet hotel . Not knowing what he did to my animals has haunted me, the worst thing is trying to explain to my children they would never see their beloved pets again, and I didn’t know why. My children have never gotten over this.
