Winner of New York Magazine's "Best Non-Cutesy Pet Store" in 2007, Doggystyle is a New York City favorite. The magazine says "Look past the name to the selection: asymmetrical scratching posts that look like Frank Gehry might have had a hand in the design, dog bowls that wouldn’t embarrass on a human’s breakfast table, plus ergonomically correct feeders and easy-to-use, buckle-free harnesses. Two-dog owner Andy Schulman is so passionate about utilitarian design that she creates her own products, like 2Twelve messenger bags, which distributes a pet’s weight evenly for more comfortable transporting, and fleece-lined coats with reflective trim for safer nighttime walks."
