  very friendly accommodating to my dog. beautiful to sit outside and see the boats on the water. food was really good !! dog enjoyed my pulled chicken on the Santa Fe salad chicken on the side

  The best!

  We struggled to find a dog friendly place near the water. the tavern was so accommodating and provided us with a water bowl (with ice!) cooper had a blast with staff and it was cool on a hot day.

  Call Ahead!

  Call ahead to make sure they actually have pet friendly seating open! When you are traveling w a pet you have to plan ahead and your choices are limited. When a business closes their pet friendly seating for the day it can be VERY frustrating. Places on this list not actually having pet friendly seating has been a common theme here in the New Buffalo area.

  Tucked away behind the inn and the marina, the patio was well worth the extra effort to find it. Very friendly staff and excellent food

  Nice Outdoor Dining On The Marina

  Unusual to find such an upscale restaurant with a nice menu that welcomes dogs on the outdoor patio. Tuna and avocado poke was fresh and delicious ($14). We had Mahi tacos ($20) and a large burger and fries ($14 ) for dinner, both very good. Mixed drinks reasonable, wine by the glass expensive. Service great, we would return.

  The food was delicious and fresh tasting. Very accommodating for pups. Great place to grab a bite to eat with a beautiful view. FYI the patio area is in the back of the building around the pool area which is where pups can enter.

  The waitress brought the dog water before us which was awesome. Good portions and flavor. Highly recommend it for a stop between Detroit and Chicago. The marina makes it great

  Absolutely delicious. We sat on the patio with our Italian Greyhound after a day trip to area to pick blueberries. We recommend both the fish tacos and the fish and chips. We are definitely going back.
