Located in a historic 1850's farmhouse, The Mockingbird Restaurant serves up authentic, down-home southern food. Choose from menu options like appetizers, salads, chicken, seafood, steak, and more. Your pup is welcome to join you at one of their many pet-friendly outdoor tables while you enjoy an order of Fried Green Tomatoes with Maytag bleu cheese, housemade peach preserves, arugula, and a black cherry balsamic reduction. Later, chow down on the Shrimp and Grits with stone ground white cheddar cheese grits, sauteed shrimp, scallions, mushrooms, and applewood bacon brown butter. Wind down after dinner with an Antebellum Spirit (El Dorado 15yr rum, Lustao Solera sherry, Solerno blood orange, and saffron bitters.) The Mockingbird is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, Friday through Saturday from 4:00pm to 12:00am, and Sunday from 10:00am to 9:00pm.
